We went on a little get away last week to the Shimoda area, on the Izu peninsula. So so beautiful!!! and so so much fun to just hang out on the beach. We definitely want to go back. There was a lot to see. There seemed to be a lot of historical sites in the area that we were not aware of before we went and we want to go back to see them. It was a great trip. Here is some pics of the fun on the beach. (I will probably have to break this trip up into several posts, so this is the beach pics first day!)

Genevieve got so tired, and so snuggly the whole trip. We loved it! She isn't to much of a snuggler so we took her up on it. :)

Rocky!! Except Rocky didn't have water...or a beach...it was more a "inner city...stair" thing...but oh well...running with determination and wife taking a picture...close enough ;)

How fun!!! We definitely need to get directions to that place and tips on what to do, where to stay, etc. It looks like you guys had a blast!
